Not through striking forms or technical experiments, but through attention to material, proportions, and functionality. With this floor lamp, everything revolves around the cohesion between the components. The round base, the slender stand, and the two curved arms are constructed from solid teak wood. The construction appears simple, yet is carefully thought out. Every line has a function, and no material has been added without reason. The two light points can be adjusted independently of each other. This allows the lamp to easily transform from mood lighting to a reading lamp or accent lighting. The original adjustment screws operate smoothly and make it possible to adjust the height and position of both arms separately. The woven textile shades form an important part of the design. During the day, they add texture and warmth to the ensemble, while in the evening hours they diffuse a soft, filtered light. The structure of the material remains visible, giving the lamp a very distinctive appearance. In our workshop, the woodwork has been professionally restored and re-treated with high-quality furniture oil. The lamp has been technically inspected, carefully cleaned, and fitted with e27 sockets, ideal for use with led bulbs. The cord features the original switch. The lamp is ready for immediate use. A unique design from a period when lighting was designed not only to provide light but also to shape a space.
