Each table is topped with a thick round glass surface, allowing the beautifully crafted bamboo framework to remain fully visible from every angle. This is a very rare set. These bamboo leather wrapped table bases where not signed, but we are very secure in them being Attributed to McGuire Furniture. They can be found in the McGuire Inventory Collection books listed as BA-12B (see last picture).

These tables are unsigned, as is common with many of McGuire's bamboo designs. This collection comes from a prominent Houston family who owned a well-known Houston furniture and art gallery and were avid art collectors and conservators. Each McGuire piece in their collection was hand selected for their private residence and purchased through McGuire's trade program. This piece, along with many others in the collection, was acquired directly from McGuire through the family's gallery. The entire collection has been beautifully maintained and is being offered here alongside many other exceptional McGuire pieces from this remarkable estate. These are perfect beside a sofa, between lounge chairs, or as bedside tables, this matching pair offers timeless style and exceptional quality. One has a slightly larger glass top. These are in excellent vintage condition. One has a small inclusion on the bottom edge of one of the glass tops. Very hard to see
