The tabletop has an oval shape with a central burl inlay and a molded edge along the outer perimeter. The under-table band is embellished with a beautiful bronze trim that runs along the entire perimeter. The four cabriolet legs are highlighted by gilded bronze finials at the top and curled bronze feet at the bottom. A sliding mechanism allows for the insertion of two original extensions, and the table is supported in the center by compass legs. Origin: France, second half of the 19th century.
