For your consideration, a vintage Vallauris ceramic bowl that can be used as catch all, dish or ashtray. A mid-century piece of studio art pottery handcrafted in Vallauris, France.
Features a highly organic, sculptural wavy rim with a shallow basin typical of postwar French Riviera styles.
Decorated with an earthy, multi-toned brown matte or satin finish.Motif: The interior showcases stylized sgraffito or hand-painted leaf and botanical designs, typical of the artistic revival from the 1950s to 1970s
Signed on the bottom.
