Large hand painted wood Iguana figure, made in Oaxaca, Mexico, traditionally known as Alebrije.
Whimsical stylized iguana with brightly hand painted patterns including lightening bolts and stars.
Measures 10 3/4" tall x 13" x 6"
Sadly, one of the back talons has broke off, obvious in first photo. There is also one area where the paint has cracked, as photographed. Otherwise, looks great.
