Vintage blue, turquoise bubble vase, large cast hexagonal design vase with hollow bubbles and indentations by Stolle Nieman, Poland, 1970s.
While similar designs from Czechoslovakia were made of thick glass, the techniques of Polish factories favored similar motifs with thinner glass. The convex indentations catch the light from all angles, making the pattern appear to constantly move when you change your viewpoint.
The very high-quality execution reflects the high level of craftsmanship for which Poland is known.
The vase is in pristine vintage condition; it has 2 imperfections caused by the production process: a small air bubble at the bottom of the base and a small glass thread on one of the sides. In the vintage world, these imperfections are not considered damage but rather a means to demonstrate authenticity. Check the photos for more details!
