This animal sculpture is in the style of the 19th-century French sculptor Pierre-Jules Mêne, known for his bronze animal sculptures. Unsigned, circa first half of the 20th century.

The statue depicts a forward-leaning or attacking ram with prominent, curved horns; the statue symbolizes resilience, determination, and strength. It stands on a rectangular marble pedestal with a striking veined pattern. The piece bears a very beautiful patina of age.

This antique statue is in very good condition; the statue itself shows no defects. The marble base displays some signs of age consistent with its age, including a few tiny chips at the corners.
