A finely carved pair of Italian Rococo giltwood mirrors dating to the 18th century. Executed in richly modeled giltwood, each mirror features an elegant cartouche-form plate surrounded by exuberant scrolling acanthus ornament and foliate details characteristic of the Italian Rococo tradition.

Retaining a beautifully aged gilded surface with layers of patina accumulated over centuries, the mirrors possess the warmth and character sought after in authentic period decorative arts.
