Four original Castelli Italy lucite folding chairs.
The chairs are marked “pl/a CASTELLI ITALY” and are associated with the iconic Giancarlo Piretti design language of the 1960s–1970s.
This set has a strong Pace Collection / Milo Baughman / postmodern Hollywood Regency aesthetic while remaining unmistakably Italian modern.
Condition:
* Very good vintage condition
* Chrome presents beautifully
* Glass has light wear consistent with age
* Lucite chairs show expected vintage wear but remain structurally solid
An increasingly hard-to-find set, especially as these are original marked Castelli chairs.
