A striking vintage swung glass vase in a rich sapphire blue color, featuring an elegant five-fingered rim and dramatic elongated form.
The vase was created using the traditional swung-glass technique, in which molten glass is blown into a mold and then stretched while still hot to produce its distinctive organic shape and flowing contours. The deep sapphire blue glass displays excellent clarity and a vibrant appearance when illuminated.
The base is lobed and retains a polished pontil mark. A few small air bubbles from the manufacturing process are present within the glass, typical of handmade production and adding to its character.
The vase bears no markers, labels, or hallmarks.
