A beautiful small silver dish/plate that could be used as a wine coaster, tray for hors d'oeuvres, or bread plate. engraved on the back with the letters "WLD" and "27-5-88" presumably standing for May 27, 1988.
Marked with the number "34547" and the makers mark and "800". 800 silver is a silver alloy consisting of 80% pure silver and 20% other metals (usually copper), which is often referred to a "continental silver" because this alloy was widely used in mainland Europe (especially Germany, Austria, and Italy) in the last 19th and early 20th centuries. This dish is also marked with a crown and a crescent moon, suggesting it is from Germany.
