Swedish teak entryway cabinet with six drawers and geometric copper handles. Original label present. Lars-Göran Nilsson for Glas & Trä Hovmantorp, 1970s.
Entranceway cabinet designed by Lars-Göran Nilsson and Ewa Wrangel for Glas & Trä Hovmantorp in the 1970s, featuring a compact construction and a decorative language reminiscent of later Scandinavian Modern production. The teak structure is punctuated by six drawers of varying sizes, accented by geometric handles in wood and turned copper that add a strong sculptural accent to the façade. The low proportions and linear base recall Swedish home furnishings of the period, which oriented toward essential forms but with highly recognizable material details. Original manufacturer and designer labels present.
