They feature a curved glass front panel that has been covered with Capiz Shell mosaic chips. The glass is secured with a nickel finish metal. Really lovely when lit up. The mounting plate and wiring is ready to install. Your electrician will have to use existing wall plates if you are replacing sconces, or provide those if these are being installed new to your wall.
