Shaped with gently upturned sides, the small dish is patterned with freeform linework and abstract florals, radiating from a central medallion with a chrysanthemum-petal border. The underside bears a hand-painted maker's mark. Perfect today as a storied gift, the antique plate is a lovely example of Chinese ceramic tradition. See less
