Macbeth-Evans Monax dessert plates primarily feature an Art Nouveau decor style, characterized by soft, flowing floral scrollwork, curlicues, and scalloped edges. They are classic representations of 1930s Depression glass and fit beautifully into vintage, cottage, or farmhouse aesthetics.
The Material: Monax glass is an ultra-thin, translucent opalescent glass that has a faint, shimmery bluish hue when held up to the light. While it looks delicate like fine bone china, it is highly durable.
