The main … Read more Pair of Napoleon III-style red griotte marble vases with handles, featuring inlays of finely chiseled gilded bronze elements. The main body has an elongated ovoid shape with a slender profile set upon a tapered neck. The gilded bronze mount is a decorative element of exceptional craftsmanship, while the lid features a pinecone-shaped handle. The tall, vertically extended side handles are made of square-section bronze with an elegant geometric design. The lower section is enclosed within a circular, beaded frame decorated with plant motifs on the underside. Condition: Good condition. Provenance: 19th-century France. Dimensions: 16x16 cm, H 66 cm.
