Rare inkwell with pen holder made of patinated and gilded bronze, a handmade art object entirely in the typical Art Nouveau style, signed ‘Willy’ in the work, early 20th century.
Characteristic of the Art Nouveau style are the organic and floral forms, elegant and graceful, flowing lines just as they occur in nature.
This rare inkwell is in very good antique condition, showing signs of age and use appropriate for its age, some signs of wear and fading of the gold plating, a few shallow scratches on the underside, the glass inkwell is missing, but this object still looks fantastic, check the photos for more details!
