This heavy, solidly crafted collector's item is mouth-blown and features a warm amber (topaz) body woven with vertical, organic, dark brown to almost black glass threads.

The craftsmanship is particularly evident in the sculptural, clear glass handle: it was applied while the glass was still hot and fixed to the flared body using traditional, circular glass stamps (known as prunes). The prunes exhibit the characteristic cooling patterns of the separation process on their interior – an unmistakable mark of genuine, meticulous studio glasswork.

Weighing in at a substantial 1.5 kg and with its warm, autumnal color palette, this vase is a sculptural eye-catcher, whether displayed as a standalone piece or as a centerpiece. It blends beautifully into Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, or organic interiors.

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition. The glass is brilliant and clear, without any significant chips, cracks, or flea bites. The underside shows an authentic chipped or ground Pontil slab and slight, age-related scuff marks on the base, confirming the piece's age.
