Gae Aulenti's Pipistrello Lamp for Martinelli Luce
Designed in 1965 for the Olivetti showrooms in Paris and Buenos Aires.
Designed by Aulenti, inspired by Art Nouveau with a modern twist.
Mass-produced by Martinelli Luce.
The lamp features a telescopic base in dark brown lacquered metal, which allows the height to be adjusted from 70 cm to 90 cm.
The shade is made of plastic and its shape resembles a flower, a typical decorative element of Art Nouveau.
Under the base is the manufacturer's mark and the original label in the light housing.
This is an example of the first edition of lamps, original from the 1970s.
It is in excellent condition, in perfect working order, and shows obvious and natural signs of aging, visible in the photos. This piece has an attribution mark,
