designer thomas eriksson (sweden, 1959) a swedish architect and designer, he graduated in 1981 from the royal institute of technology in stockholm. He is one of the founders of stockholm design lab, a studio active in the fields of industrial design, visual identity, and interior architecture. He has collaborated with cappellini, ikea, asplund, and scandinavian airlines, for which he developed the corporate identity—an award-winning project that received the utmärkt svensk form (excellent swedish design) award in 1999 and the core design award in 2001. For cappellini, he designed the cross storage units, which have been included in the permanent collections of the metropolitan museum of art in new york and moma.
