Glass artist and designer, he trained as a ceramist at rosenthal and ginori in the 1970s. He approached murano glass thanks to his friendship with anna venini and laura de santillana, and in 1989 he founded the arcade brand, of which he is creative director. Within arcade he has developed collections in collaboration with international designers and artists, including laura de santillana, paola navone and marcello panza, created by master glassmaker andrea zilio. At the same time, he continues his personal production of one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by travel, the voyages series, entirely mouth-blown in murano. His works are present in the permanent collections of the murano glass museum, the musée des arts décoratifs in paris and the museum of modern art in lissone. He lives and works in paris.
