Looking for a unique piece to enhance your interior while making an eco-friendly choice? Discover this magnificent small Scandinavian teak chest of drawers from the 1960s. with its clean lines and warm hue, this vintage piece perfectly embodies mid-century Nordic design. It integrates elegantly into an entryway, bedroom, or contemporary living room.
An authentic and durable Scandinavian chest of drawers
This Scandinavian chest of drawers is more than just aesthetically pleasing; it's a true decorative investment. By choosing secondhand furniture, you're supporting remarkable and enduring craftsmanship. The frame and drawer fronts feature high-quality teak veneer. Furthermore, the tapered legs and organic handles are crafted entirely from solid teak.
In addition, the construction of this storage unit demonstrates exceptional sturdiness. The four drawers are traditionally joined with dovetail joints. This time-honored technique guarantees perfect structural strength and excellent longevity, even with repeated use.
Handcrafted Restoration and Transparency
We select our pieces with passion and give them a second life. That's why this small Scandinavian teak chest of drawers underwent a complete restoration in our workshop. The piece was entirely sanded and then protected with a high-quality oil. This meticulous finish deeply nourishes the wood while revealing the natural grain of the teak.
Similarly, the stability of the piece was carefully checked. The legs were thoroughly redesigned during the restoration to ensure perfectly straight, sturdy, and reliable legs for everyday use.
Because authenticity is achieved through transparency, we note that some signs of wear and tear remain visible on the left side of the piece. These discreet marks tell its unique story and in no way detract from its solidity or vintage charm (see photos).
