Scandinavian Mid Century Walnut Shaped Low Open Bookcase Circa 1950.
We are pleased to offer this stunning Swedish bookcase which has unusually been made in walnut.
At 6 foot 9 inches long, this bookcase can hold its own in many rooms while offering a low footprint for space saving. Beautifully figured top surface with beaded edge. Storage is supplied by 2 large open apertures each end containing a single shelf which compliments the main bow fronted double door cupboard in the middle, which is fitted with a single fixed shelf. Beautiful timbers used on all surfaces. Raised on 6 fluted tapering feet.
Fully re-polished by hand in our workshop. Restoration to age split on top surface which is photographed, minor restorations to veneer work to top surface and shelves. Stunning colour and ready for everyday use around the home,
