made entirely of solid oak, we love the wood grain and its luminous golden hue. The tabletop has mortise and tenon joints at each end, ensuring its long-lasting sturdiness.

it is very thick, giving the table a high-quality look that sits elegantly on the square base.

the screw heads are somewhat visible on the sides of the base; these could be filled with dowels for a perfect finish.

the extension leaf, which is detachable (and very heavy, like the table itself), is securely attached via a slot located under the tabletop. The extra-large extension leaf is held securely by a retractable central leg that supports its weight and considerable size.

it is made of the same wood as the rest of the table, but the planks are laid in a different direction. Fully restored, treated, lightly stained, and then protected with a varnish.
in very good condition, with a patina of age in places that adds to its charm and authenticity.
