The tall, curved arm gives … Read more 1970s arc lamp by Hustadt Leuchten, crafted in brass with a large semi-transparent cocoon shade. The tall, curved arm gives the lamp an elegant line in the room. Thanks to the telescopically adjustable section, the depth can be easily adjusted from approximately 120 to 150 cm. The shade is also adjustable via the pivot point at the end of the arm. The large shade emits a warm, diffused light and is made of a fine organic material similar to animal bladder, a material often used in luxury lighting from the 1970s. When the lamp is lit, a soft glow is created, beautifully revealing the structure of the shade. The round base is finished in brushed brass and shows light signs of use consistent with its age. In our workshop, we have carefully treated the brass, cleaned the shade, and inspected the mechanics. A serene yet distinctive floor lamp with an almost architectural appearance due to the combination of the tall arc shape, adjustable construction, and large floating shade. Maximum height 200 cm. Shade diameter 50 cm. Depth variable from 120 to 150 cm.
