An incredibly beautiful and stylish sideboard in teak, designed by Gunni Omann for Omann Jun Møbelfabrik in the 1960s and is a fantastic example of Danish furniture craftsmanship at its very best.
Model 18 is one of Omann Jun's rarer models and with its generous length of 200 cm, this is a piece of furniture that really impresses, while being surprisingly easy to place in the home thanks to its elegant proportions.
Behind the two practical sliding doors is a spacious storage space with shelves that are both movable and removable. There is plenty of space here for porcelain, glass or other finer items in the home. The sideboard also has four deep and practical drawers, where the top one is equipped with a smart drawer insert for smaller items. A piece of furniture that combines function and aesthetics in the very best way.
The beautifully framed front gives the sideboard an exclusive and characterful expression while reinforcing the solid feel. The choice of materials is of the highest quality and together with the exquisite craftsmanship, a piece of furniture with fantastic weight, finish and shape is created.
The characteristic narrow, cone-shaped legs and the elegantly sculpted handles in solid teak are details that Omann Jun had a patent for. They contribute to the timeless and sophisticated expression of the furniture and make it immediately recognizable to those who appreciate Danish design.
The back is also veneered in teak, which means that the furniture can be placed freestanding in a room and be equally beautiful from all angles. The interior of the sideboard is also in teak.
Omann Jun's furniture was sold exclusively through exclusive retailers worldwide, and we are very happy to soon have this masterpiece in the store. A piece of furniture that not only offers generous storage but also lifts and refines an entire room.
The leg frame is easy to dismantle for transport.
