An elegant earthenware pitcher dating from the early 20th century, in the Art Nouveau period, manufactured by the Onnaing pottery factory.
This charming piece of glazed earthenware captivates with its naturalistic relief decoration depicting a bird perched on flowering branches, in a typically Art Nouveau style. The body of the pitcher features a beautiful vertical decoration of soft green reminiscent of bamboo, while the handle imitates a finely carved wooden branch.
The interior is covered with a beautiful deep burgundy glaze, offering a lovely contrast to the exterior colors. The underside bears the number “56”.
Highly decorative, this pitcher can be used as a vase or simply displayed in a kitchen, conservatory, or collector's home. It will bring a poetic and authentic touch to a country chic, bohemian, or Art Nouveau decor.
Beautiful antique patina and charming network of cracks from use, typical of ceramics of this period.
A piece full of charm and character. This piece has an attribution mark,
