The vase is a work by master glassmaker Lino Tagliapietra. It is an iconic piece, often part of the "Tessuto" or "Mogambo" series, created by Tagliapietra for Effetre International in the 1980s. The decoration is achieved through the intricate technique of glazing with diagonally arranged polychrome canes, creating an effect similar to the texture of fabric.
