Label from the '1970 Collective Painting Exhibition at the 'Bottega del pittore' in Arcumeggia is on the back. An artist unfamiliar with 20th-century movements, but curious and attentive to the teachings of Giuseppe Pellizza da Volpedo and Gaetano Previati, Innocente Salvini created works imbued with strong feelings about his homeland and daily life (he was nicknamed the 'miller-painter' for his connection to the peasant life from which he came) and characterized by a distinctive expressionist color style, predominately dominated by green, yellow, and red. The work is presented in a contemporary frame. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
