This antique credenza from Italy has a bowed design and front, with canted and scalloped sides that progress outward to be wider at rear, creating a soft and curvaceous shape to this piece. There is one large panel door set at center, which opens to reveal shelving for interior storage. The skirting is scalloped along the front and each side. This piece is raised on four cabriole style legs. The backside of the piece is flat and undecorated, as made to fit snuggly against a wall. The finish is a mix of original and later paint found primarily on the top. The chest is adorn in hand-painted flowers and foliage. This 19th century Italian console cabinet is approximately 3.75 feet in width, making it the perfect storage and display piece where space-saving is desired. See less
