The design combines strong architectural lines with softened details, including rounded top rails, open armrests and subtly tapering legs. The chairs are upholstered in a geometric checkerboard fabric in warm cream, beige and rust tones. The upholstery appears to be older and has been renewed at some point in the past; it shows visible signs of age and use, adding to the character of the pieces.
