Both figures stand exactly 7 inches tall and feature the rare, authentic impressed 6-character square kiln stamp on the unglazed bases: "景德镇雕塑瓷厂" (Jingdezhen Sculpture Porcelain Factory), dating them to the late 1970s or early 1980s.

Unlike mass-produced modern versions, this pair highlights the masterful, meticulous craftsmanship of state-designated export ceramic artists. The quality of the hand-painting is exceptional—crisp, intricate underglaze cobalt scrollwork, vivid overglaze enamel accents, and completely clear of any sloppy overlapping lines.
