Mid-century modern Noguchi coffee table.
A classic staple of design, this table is a favorite! Thick plate glass top set onto a folding base. Two carved wood pieces swivel open to desired angle. Wood is finished in a warm mahogany tone.
Early models of this table are known for having no signature or stamp. This piece was with original owner since 1960s. In found condition. See condition notes and photos for details.

This piece shows signs of wear consistent with age and use. There are minor wear marks and light surface scratches that may be visible on surface. See repair at base at the swivel point, on the underside of top leg. The folding base is in great working condition, the finishing tone on the repair sits in shadow. Some light surface scratches in the glass, difficult to photograph. Wood frame is lightweight. The glass top is very heavy, 5/8” thick. Please see all photos and close-ups for reference. All items are vintage or pre-loved pieces that have light wear consistent with age. Each are rare, one-of-a kind pieces that are in found-condition and hand-picked.
