The slender metal frame is finished with hand-applied gold leaf, its surface softly catching light—its patina earned through time, not polish. A rhythmic lattice apron wraps the perimeter like a delicate filigree, while gently arched stretchers and tapering legs speak to Florentine decorative tradition. The smoked glass top hovers above the base, tracing the silhouette of the gilded metal below. Intimate in scale, the table moves effortlessly between writing desk and dining surface. Condition: Great vintage condition. The gilt bronze base shows surface wear, small areas of loss, and tonal variation, consistent with hand-applied gilding and age.
