The rectangular frame is softened by rounded corners, its woven body running in a continuous loop from base to top. Two inset glass shelves rest within the structure, balancing lightness against the handwoven cane. Reflecting mid-century Frances embrace of natural materials and scaled for versatility, it serves equally as a bookcase, display shelf, or petite console. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Minor irregularities in the handwoven cane, including a few small breaks, do not affect stability. One glass shelf displays a subtly visible nick along the edge, though without sharp corners or signs of further damage. Both shelves sit securely within the frame. See less
