Constructed over a … Read more An Italian pendant light from the 1960s, featuring a sculptural half-dome shade formed using the cocoon technique. Constructed over a metal frame and sprayed with resin, the shade has a softly fibrous surface that recalls the look of goatskin parchment. Subtle curved channels articulate the dome, diffusing light with a warm, even glow. The pendant is suspended from a brass chain and canopy, complemented by a small turned wooden detail at the center. Condition: Very good vintage condition. The cocoon shade shows age-appropriate tonal variation and light surface wear consistent with the nature of the material. Brass elements display a warm patina.
