The Area 50 pendant light, designed by Mario Bellini, is a rare and iconic piece produced by Artemide in 1976. The resin shade, delicately folded like flowing fabric, diffuses light in a soft, ambient glow. It retains its original metal canopy and doughnut-shaped counterweight in a white enameled finish, allowing for variable height adjustments.

While he is best known for his work with brands like Cassina, B&B Italia, and Olivetti, Bellini also collaborated with Artemide, a company renowned for pushing the boundaries of lighting design. Condition: Great vintage condition, with minor discoloration and marks to the shade and light scuffs along the enamel. This pendant has been professionally rewired by our team of restorationists with 10 of cable. Accepts one E26 base light bulb.
