This rectangular box has flat sides though animated by the undulations of the exotic wood and on the lid, stylized marquetry of wispy botanicals adds further intrigue and mystery around the contents. The interior is thoughtfully organized as a removable tray divided into sections wrapped in cerulean blue satin to protect various jewelry pieces and silver leaf gilding. A small oval mirror in the lid is surrounded by ruched satin of the same color. Below are two (locking) doors which swing out to reveal a shallow drawer of three sections, also padded in the same vibrant satin. One key included.
