This is a beautiful, authentic mid-century Japanese shikishi board painting meticulously hand-painted with water-based pigments and traditional sumi ink. The composition depicts the classic Shichifukujin (Seven Lucky Gods) of Japanese folklore gathered in harmony, featuring Benzaiten with her lute, Hotei resting against his sack of abundance, and Fukurokuju representing longevity.
