This Chinese Rose Medallion porcelain plate features the classic "Rose Medallion" pattern, typically associated with 19th-century export ware. The design consists of four alternating panels featuring figures in court scenes and botanical scenes with birds and butterflies, arranged around a central circular medallion.Vibrant enamels in pink, green, and gold are characteristic of this style, often referred to as "Mandarin" decoration when figures are present.
The size is 8 3/8”W x 1 1/8”T. It is in beautiful condition with no chips or cracks. I would call this a plate, but it may actually be a very shallow bowl. Please see the photos for more information. I love the cheery colors of this porcelain china.
