The design on these garden seats exquisitely hand painted and decorated with beautifully coloured multi floral design in a garden of blooming peonies, chrysanthemums, daisies and pairs of stylized butterflies... framed by a pair of interlocking coins
The design is an auspicious symbols of wealth, prosperity, happiness and good fortune and luck. Together they bring hope, fresh beginnings and renewal...Peonies are the visual language of traditional Chinese paintings and poetry. Also know as the 'The Flower of Wealth, Rank and Symbolizes with the Emperor and the Ruling Class'...
This set of two garden seat is very unusual from the traditional design of most pieces of this shape, they were hand painted by a highly skilled master artisan to showcase the workmanship and skilled painter in this original highly regarded Jiangdezhen porcelain showroom. Only one pair was produced as a showcase of the workmanship of the artisan...and it would be hard to find it on the open market again. The hand painted details are exquisite and very beautifully decorated...a true treasure to have...!
