This … Read more This is an absolutely EPIC Murano glass chandelier made in the 1970s by Seguso, and designed by Franco Luce. This piece is very rare, and has three tiers and a whopping 21 lights/leaves that casts the most beautiful glow in any space. I have so enjoyed being the steward of this glorious piece and am only letting it go because my next home doesn’t have a space in which to properly feature this outstanding piece.
The piece is very heavy, as you might guess, so please ensure it is properly installed by a professional. There are no chips or cracks on any of the leaves and the frame is sturdy and beautiful. The only flaw I found is that the finial on the underside has a slight bend to it as if it was set down at one point and that piece bent a bit. The photos show this - it can probably be bent back but it didn’t bother me at all so I haven’t tried doing that.
This piece is stunning and is a work of art that is such a pleasure to behold!
It is 48” in diameter and 48” from bottom to ceiling (this height includes the chain and canopy.)
