This is a beautiful and VERY rare trya / plate and vase ( or tumbler? ) set of French blue … Read more This is a beautiful and VERY rare trya / plate and vase ( or tumbler? ) set of French blue opaline glass by Portieux Vallerysthal in the gorgeous and highly collectible gold star pattern. They are in lovely vintage condition with no chips or cracks, but as is to be expected there is slight wear to the gold on the rims and to several of the stars - see photos for more details. There are also some faint inclusions in the plate - little black flecks that are visible upon close inspection. There are very very faint "utensil" marks on the plate, which I mention just to be VERY thorough. They are very hard to see. The set displays BEAUTIFULLY and would be a treasured addition to any opaline collection!
Plate/tray: 8 3/4" diameter, 1 5/8" tall.
Vase / glass: 3" diameter at rim, 5 7/8" tall. See less
