Each shelf features a slatted metal lattice top supported by an ornate twisted rope base tied in an exuberant bow, with two trailing tassels ending in decorative fluted caps — a motif closely associated with Italian decorative metalwork of this period.

The gilt finish retains a rich warm gold tone throughout, with the minor age-appropriate patina you'd expect from a well-loved vintage piece. Sold as a matching pair. Each shelf mounts to the wall via two brackets on the reverse.
