“After the Heat” is a contemporary abstract painting that unfolds through soft transitions of color and an open, atmospheric field. The composition suggests distance and light, with forms that emerge and recede within a quiet, expansive space.
Muted tones shift gradually across the surface, allowing subtle variations in texture and edge to create a sense of calm and suspension.
This work is part of a small group of paintings now being released from the studio archive.
