Add a nice hint of some vintage charm to your kitchen counter or shelving with this antique "Perfection" family kitchen scale! Manufactured in Chicago by the American Cutlery Co. around the 1910s–1920s, this 24-pound scale features their iconic "Original Slanting Dial" designed for easy reading while standing up looking down at it. Fantastic, original seafoam aqua green painted finish with gold pinstripe detailing around the elegant wavy base and original eagle/bird decals on the sides. A quintessential piece of farmhouse decor.
Wonderful antique condition with a honest patina consistent with use and age. Sheet metal body shows light paint distressing, minor scuffs, and small spots of oxidation that The dial face is incredibly clean and readable, and the ornate dark pointer hand is fully intact. Behind the needle, the original (un-sun-stained) color of the text is visible. Accurately measures (see photos--weights not included)
