This harmoniously arranged trio, consisting of two vase-jugs and a cachepot, each with its own unique color and glaze effect, comes from the workshop of the renowned german ceramicist elly kuch (1908-1996), whose work since the 1940s has been characterized by its clear, simple forms, archaic-looking glazes and decorations, and sophisticated execution.
the three vessels exemplify kuch's signature style, which reflects the duality of her technical and artistic training, combined with the principles of the bauhaus school.
a turquoise vase-jug with a gently flowing, slightly transparent glaze, whose subtle color modulations are typical of kuch's experimental work from the late 1970s. The subtle gradient effect is achieved through thinly applied, multiple-fired layers.

a light, cream-colored vase-pitcher with a matte finish, reminiscent of kuch's early stoneware period. The fine iron dots, the restrained color palette, and the use of glaze thickness as a decorative element allude to nature-inspired, japanese-influenced aesthetics.
dimensions: h: 11.3 cm w: 12.6 cm d: 14.5 cm
a plant pot with a beige-brown glaze and a decorative, hand-drawn wave border. This type of archaic-looking, sculptural linework is frequently found in klett's work from the late 1970s and 1980s, a period in which she increasingly experimented with graphic elements.
dimensions: h: 11.4 cm d: 13.4 cm
together, these three pieces showcase the breadth of kuch's ceramic research: from understated, almost nordic-inspired natural tones to subtly nuanced color gradients, always underpinned by a calm, functional design language. Each vessel is an independent object, yet together they form a harmonious, collectible set with a high degree of aesthetic coherence. This piece has an attribution mark,
