An original 1930s italian birch burl chest of drawers, exceptionally well-preserved and crafted, part of a bedroom suite, which has survived complete with all its elements.
a rare opportunity, as it marks the transition between art nouveau and italian rationalism. My family had it made in 1936 by skilled craftsmen, modeled after the milanese borsani style, then in fashion.
