Large ceramic dish designed by Ivy Lysdal for Kähler, Denmark, during the 1960s.
The dish features an expressive hand-incised abstract composition with stylized graphic motifs in black, ivory, and green glaze tones. The decoration reflects Scandinavian modernist studio ceramics with strong expressionist influences and a visual language reminiscent of mid-century Picasso ceramics.
Ivy Lysdal is regarded as one of the most important artistic voices associated with Kähler during the postwar decades.
Very good vintage condition with beautiful handmade glaze character. This piece has an attribution mark,
