An exceptionally stunning vintage English silver plated standalone single pedestal candleholder dating to circa 1940.
Standing nearly 6.5 inches tall this elegant centrepiece candle fixture rest up upon a classic 3.5 inch sweeping trumpet pedestal base.
The piece features is two beautifully cast, majestic lions mounted on the rim that serve as striking figure scroll handles.
The top opening measures 6.25 inches in diameter, making it perfectly sized to hold and showcase one large pillar candle. If features an unidentified makers stamp on the underside.
The weight is 2 lb 5 oz. This listing is for a single standalone candle holder. It is a very good vintage condition exhibiting minor blemishes on the exterior and interior surface consistent with its age and history.
